“Artsakh is my home” initiative is a bridge between families and benefactors

Various initiatives have been launched these days to support the Artsakh Armenians.

The “Artsakh is my home” initiative of American Armenians is one of them. It is a unique bridge between the beneficiary family and the benefactor.

Maya Tokhatyan, the author of the “Artsakh is my home” initiative, told about the goals and objectives of the idea live in Alpha News.

“Artsakh is my home” is a social movement. It started as a Facebook group after the war of 2020. Our initiative is a bridge between the family and the benefactor. We do not fundraise. Dozens of volunteers work with us and help connect the family with the benefactor. After connecting, our function ends, and benefactors themselves establishes contact with families,” she said.

Tokhatyan notes that it is a closed group, which helps to reduce the possibility of leak of personal data.

“At the moment, the most vulnerable are the forcibly displaced, and we are trying to help them. We will do everything to support our compatriots,” Tokhatyan said.
