It is impossible to restrain such aggressive and criminal attitude of Azerbaijan with appeals, Artsakh Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan told NEWS.am.

“Recently, the Azerbaijani side has carried out troop movements and accumulations of various weapons, accompanied by propaganda activities to prepare the ground for a large-scale aggression against Artsakh.

The Artsakh side has continuously warned all actors about the undeniable fact of Azerbaijan’s unprecedented accumulation of military power after the 2020 war and possible provocations, hoping to prevent large-scale military operations.

As you know, during the last 24 hours, the Azerbaijani side has spread misinformation that the Artsakh side allegedly carried out sabotage operations and shelled the Azerbaijani positions.

And later, they announced the start of a so-called “anti-terrorist operation”, proving that all these steps were planned in advance. This fully corresponds to the reports about the genocidal actions of Azerbaijan against the Armenian side, Artsakh and its people in recent months.

Now we are witnessing how Azerbaijan, pursuing its genocidal policy, moves to the physical annihilation of the civilian population and the destruction of civilian objects.

We have repeatedly informed the international actors that it is impossible to restrain such aggressive and criminal attitude of Azerbaijan with appeals. We demand that the international community take effective steps in a very short period of time to stop Azerbaijan’s aggression,” the minister said.
