Artsakh native Dmitrii Adamov wins wrestling tournament in Turkey 

The 2024 International Yasar Dogu & Vehbi Emre Wrestling Tournament was held in Turkey from March 7 to 10, with Dmitrii Adamov, a native of Artsakh, winning in the 72 kg category.

He defeated Georgia’s Otar Abuladze 5-3 in the finals.

During the first bout, Adamov defeated the Iranian 5-3, and in the second bout, he beat the Russian athlete 3-1. The third bout ended with Adamov’s 8-0 win against the Kyrgyz athlete.

Adamov’s head coach is Ashot Zakaryan.
