The Artsakh state apparatus is currently headed by the President of Artsakh in the Artsakh representative office in Armenia, Armine Hayrapetyan, the press secretary of the Artsakh representation in Armenia, told NEWS. am.

“The representative office of Artsakh is the department of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Artsakh, which for years has carried out certain functions of Artsakh’s foreign policy in Armenia. Apart from that, the resolution of many problems among the citizens is entrusted to the representative office of Artsakh. After the 44-day war, the headquarters of the Artsakh government operates at 9 Abovyan Street, and most of these functions are currently performed by the headquarters itself, including resolution of issues related to citizens’ documents and passports and problems of the displaced Artsakh citizens in general,” she said.

According to Hayrapetyan, the representation office does not coordinate the functions of the Artsakh president or parliamentarians.

“At the moment, the developments taking place in the building of the Artsakh representative office are not actually on the agenda, because you yourself know that the president of Artsakh, the head of the government, as well as parliamentarians are in the building. The representative office does not coordinate their meetings and functions; therefore, I cannot say what may happen in the representative office building, whether there will be a meeting or not,” Hayrapetyan said.
