Artur Sargsyan qualified for 2024 Olympics

Three-time Russian champion Artur Sargsyan, 26, has been qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games following his participation in the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in Istanbul, reports the Russian Wrestling Federation.

Sargsyan recovered from his injuries and competed as an individual neutral athlete, or AIN, in the 97 kg category. 

He defeated opponents from Austria, Switzerland, Ukraine, and Germany.

The Olympic Games will be held in France from July 26 to August 11.
