Artyom Chernamoryan: At least 500 Armenians live in southern Israel which is now being shelled

At least 500 Armenians live in southern Israel which is now being shelled, editor of the ‘Armenians of Israel’ newspaper Artyom Chernamoryan told Alpha News.

“About 10,000 Armenians live in Israel, the majority lives in the center and north of the country. At least 500 live in the southern regions of the country, which are currently being shelled. The main problems now are in the south and central regions. The rocket attacks continue in the south. In such cases, Armenian families hide in shelters,” Chernamoryan said.

According to him, there are currently no casualties among our compatriots in Israel.

“Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. We have opened an information headquarters and we keep in touch with Armenians living in the southern and central regions. Men go out during the day and make necessary purchases. We can rest assured that there is no problem of hunger in the city,” Chernamoryan noted.
