Aslan Rubaev: The money that the West allocated to Armenia will go towards the surrender of Armenia

Speaking with Alpha News, political scientist Aslan Rubaev commented on the results of the Armenia-EU-US trilateral meeting in Brussels.

“Unfortunately, we do not know all the intricacies of the Brussels meeting and what European and American leaders agreed on with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. We don’t know the details, but we see that the amounts of money allocated to Armenia are astounding. This is a lot of money, and this money does not just go into the pockets of certain people who are surrendering the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia today; this money also goes towards the next big war.

Armenia today is being led along absolutely the same trajectory along which they previously led Ukraine. Armenia has already been turned into Ukraine. Today, the money will be spent on creating hostile thoughts towards Russia and arming Armenia. Also, this money went to the elites, who will silently surrender the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia,” Rubaev said.

“For the West today, the main goal is for Armenia to start a war with Azerbaijan; this is the first thing. Secondly, they want to show the ineffectiveness of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) as a structure that should, in theory, intervene. Armenia today is doing everything to destabilize the South Caucasus region. Here, its main allies are Europe and the United States of America. All this, of course, cannot but cause concern. Unfortunately, today Pashinyan and his elite are simply selling Armenia,” Rubaev concluded.
