Athletes from Akhalkalaki win gold, silver and bronze at Georgian Boxing Championship

Armenian students from the Akhalkalaki sports complex returned from the Georgian Boxing Championship in Batumi with 8 medals, reports Jnews. ge.

The national team included all eight athletes from the Akhalkalaki sports complex.

Grisha Elizbaryan in the 48kg category and Samvel Ghazaryan in the 80kg category secured second place in the youth group.

The third place was taken by Zhirayr Zakharyan in the 60kg category and Serob Minasyan in the 57kg category.

Among adults, Gor Ayvazyan won gold in the 54kg category, and Artyush Gomtsyan claimed first place in the 60kg category. Artyom Yordanyan was second in the 86kg category, and Arshak Elizbaryan finished third in the 75kg category.

The Georgian National Boxing Championship was held in Batumi from December 12 to 17.
