Athletes of Grappling Federation won 15 medals in European and World Championships in 2023

The Armenian Grappling Federation wrapped up the year by presenting its achievements in 2023.
“Throughout the year, we participated in adult European, as well as U15, U17, U20, adult and veteran World Championships, winning a total of 15 medals, including 6 gold, 3 silver, and 6 bronze medals,” said General Secretary of the Federation Vladimir Hovhannisyan, emphasizing Armenia’s participation in the World Combat Games, with Mayis Nersesyan becoming a champion.
“This year we had a newly appointed vice president, Andranik Karapetyan. We continued to implement our vision of grappling development in the country. We organized coaching and referee training courses. We are sure that 2024 will be a year of greater success for all of us,” the General Secretary of the Federation concluded.
