Austrian press was silent, and neither BBC nor CNN addressed Armenian Genocide – Sebouh Baghdoyan

Austrian Armenian public figure Sebouh Baghdoyan said in an interview with Alpha News that there was no mention of the Armenian Genocide in the Austrian press.

“This year, on April 27, when we hold the liturgy, there will be elections in Vienna. The six parties that are to participate in them are entirely focused on their campaigns. I believe this time they didn’t have time to pay attention to April 24 or Armenian issues,” he remarked.

He regretfully noted that Armenians cannot change anything, that is the reality.

“Even the local press still hasn’t touched on the topics of Armenians and the Genocide. Neither BBC nor CNN has mentioned the Armenian Genocide either. What can we do? This is our reality,” Sebouh Baghdoyan said.
