Azat Ordukhanyan: We can achieve success after the change of power 

“The German-Armenian community was more active during the war than now. This comes from the anti-national policy of the Armenian authorities,” historian, chairman of the “German Union of Armenian Academicians-1860” Azat Ordukhanyan said on the live broadcast of Alpha News.

“Most people are disappointed. But there are also Armenians who are fighting hard. On August 23, the German “Society for Threatened Peoples” will organize a rally in front of Olav Scholz’s office. This shows that the rallies in support of Artsakh are not limited to the Armenian community. In any case, many people stand beside Artsakh and the Armenian people in a visible and invisible way,” Ordukhanyan said.

The historian notes that the issue of Artsakh is the issue of reunification with the Motherland as soon as possible.

“People of Artsakh should make these words a motto of the day: rebellion, resistance and reunification with the Motherland. It is true that Azerbaijan managed to reduce the Artsakh issue to humanitarian one, but this is unacceptable, because the Artsakh issue is political, national, and should be resolved within these frameworks. The issue of Artsakh, I believe, is the issue of reunification with the Motherland as soon as possible, and any other solution will be a failure. For me, Artsakh is the twelfth region of Armenia, and a strategy must be developed for uniting the people of Artsakh. We have the full potential to solve the Artsakh issue.

The first step must be to eliminate this anti-national government. They betrayed and turned away from Ararat. I repeat again, we have the potential and we can achieve success after the change of power,” Ordukhanyan concluded.
