Azerbaijan increases defense spending by more than $1 billion

Azerbaijan’s National Assembly has approved the state budget for 2025.

Compared to the 2024 state budget, defense and national security spending has been increased by about 2 billion manats (approximately 1 billion dollars) to 8 billion 555 million manats (approximately 4.2 billion dollars).
