Azerbaijan has accused the military and political leadership of occupied Artsakh of “destruction of historical and cultural monuments.” The country’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev announced this, adding that all the rights of those arrested are “ensured” and each of them has several lawyers.

“Each of them has the right to familiarize themselves with the case file,” Aliyev said.

Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office has opened criminal cases against 15 former military and political leaders of occupied Artsakh. They are charged with “terrorism, financing of terrorism, creation of illegal armed formations and groups, conducting exercises for terrorism purposes.”
