“A peace treaty does not mean a 100 percent solution to all problems,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, as the Azerbaijani media reported.

According to Bayramov, the process does not depend on the wishes of one party.

“What matters is that both sides take appropriate steps. After the full restoration of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, we are closely following the messages of the political leaders of Armenia. We also hear positive feedback.

Bayramov said that Azerbaijan received the new package of peace proposals from Armenia late in November.

“Armenia submitted proposals that we developed within a month. The process is underway. I believe that the meetings will take place in 2024. We are looking at this issue both realistically and optimistically. At the same time, when we talk about a peace treaty, we need to understand that it does not mean a 100 percent solution to everything,” he added.
