Azerbaijani official says houses of Armenians who left Artsakh are sealed

Apartments and cultural monuments in Karabakh are guarded by special forces. The houses are sealed; no one enters them, said Farid Shafiyev, the Chair of the Azerbaijani Center of Analysis of International Relations, Azerbaijani media reported.

“There is a certain part in the decision of the International Court of Justice on this issue. This is the responsibility of Azerbaijan. After that, it is difficult to say how the process will take place physically. I believe that, as the government of Azerbaijan has already announced, those who want to return will be given time.

In other words, those who want to return will be able to do it, or those who want to come and take their belongings will, most likely, be provided with such an opportunity. That is, Azerbaijan will comply with the court’s decision, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already issued a statement on this,” he said.
