Baku court sentences Artsakh resident Rashid Beglaryan to 15 years in prison

A court in Baku sentenced Artsakh resident Rashid Beglaryan to 15 years in prison, Azerbaijani media reported.
The prosecutor reportedly demanded 17 years of imprisonment.
Beglaryan should spend the first five years in prison and the next ten in a maximum security colony.
In August 2023, Beglaryan lost his way near the village of Aghavno and ended up in the territory controlled by Azerbaijan. He was arrested.
