Bill to shut down Shoghakat TV fully approved

The bill to shut down Shoghakat TV has been fully approved. The initiative was proposed by members from the “Civil Contract” faction, Taguhi Ghazaryan and Sisak Gabrielyan. They suggested reducing the number of publicly funded TV channels from three to two.

Currently, the channels with public status are: First Channel – the main broadcaster, the spiritual-cultural channel Shoghakat TV, and the news channel Lurer.
