BRICS is the only option for Armenia – Vladimir Kireyev
Speaking with Alpha News, Vladimir Kireyev, Head of the Analytical Department of the International Eurasian Movement, commented on what will give Armenia participation in the BRICS Summit.
“BRICS is now an alternative decision-making center across the globe. It is a club of rising states that already surpasses the old center, led by the United States, Europe, and Japan, in terms of economic opportunities. And these countries now claim to be not only an economic role but also a center of power, a center of decision-making. At the moment, they are forming a new political reality.
In fact, a new world order is being formed bypassing the Western one, bypassing the United States, Europe, and Israel. As a result, new economic rules of the game will arise on this site. It is not just about individual projects, such as mining or the production of some industrial goods, or scientific developments. We are talking about a whole new ecosystem, a new reality in which all of humanity will be embedded to one degree or another. These very BRICS countries claim to be the center of this,” Kireyev said.
According to the expert, BRICS is practically the only alternative for countries like Armenia.
“Why is this interesting for Armenia? Armenia is interested in both security and economic development issues. There are high hopes that the West will somehow build this ecosystem and provide opportunities to solve some security and economic issues. However, we see that the West has not given anything to any of the countries that have joined recently.
BRICS is practically the only option for countries like Armenia, this is quite obvious. The very fact of participation in BRICS projects will not automatically give fantastic results. You need to be able to use this too. That is, you need to integrate into these sectoral industrial cooperatives, chains of obtaining surplus value on favorable terms. This is an ascending platform with growing opportunities where you can realize your potential,” Kireyev concluded.
