Brother and nephew of Catholicos of All Armenians have testified – lawyer

The brother and nephew of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, Gevorg Nersisyan and Hambardzum Nersisyan, have already given testimony, lawyer Ara Zohrabyan reported on social media.

The lawyer stated that Gevorg Nersisyan and his son Hambardzum Nersisyan were detained and have already testified, with the corresponding video recording submitted to the investigator.

“Now we are waiting for a decision,” the lawyer said, adding that within 12 hours either a motion will be filed in court for their arrest, or they will be released.
