Building where Aram Khachaturian once lived renovated in Moscow

As part of Moscow’s major renovation program, several residences that once housed prominent artists, writers, musicians, and dancers have been restored. Special attention was paid to eight “musical” buildings, which served as both homes and creative spaces for renowned composers.

One of the renovated landmarks is the iconic residential complex “Soviet Composer,” where Aram Khachaturian lived. The construction of the building was designed with musicians in mind—featuring thick walls to ensure soundproofing.
