Bulgaria’s Armenian Community Association urge Armenian authorities to stop their destructive policy

The Armenian Community Association of Bulgaria held a protest outside the Armenian Embassy in Sofia and handed over to the representatives of the Embassy a statement addressed to the Armenian authorities calling for an end to unilateral concessions and their unrealistic and disastrous policy.

“The current Armenian authorities, succumbing to threats from Azerbaijan, are preparing to surrender the territories of the Tavush region. We call on the Armenian authorities to abandon their defeatist approach and not implement the solutions imposed by the enemy, which make the homeland face new security problems.

It is impossible to build peace through continued unilateral concessions, as evidenced by Artsakh, which was left without Armenians. This policy is not only unrealistic but also destructive, threatening the complete loss of Armenia’s statehood.

Long-term and lasting peace can be reached only with a unified position, on condition of achieving national dignity and rights,” the statement of the Bulgarian Armenians reads.
