Businessman Tigran Galstyan and Deacon Hrayr Hakobyan have been arrested for two months.

As previously reported, Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, presided over by Judge Masis Melkonyan, granted the investigator’s motion to arrest Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan. The archbishop was arrested for two months.

The court also approved the arrest of ARF Bureau member Igor Sargsyan for the same duration. In addition, the court ruled to arrest Artsakh MP David Galstyan, Archbishop Bagrat’s assistant Movses Sharbatyan, blogger Armen Alexanyan, retired colonel Mihran Makhsudyan, Ara Rostomyan, and Aghvan Arshakyan—each for two months.

In total, the Investigative Committee submitted petitions requesting the detention of 16 individuals.
