Canadian Foreign Minister to visit Armenia

On August 19, Hay Dat Canadian Committee had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mélanie Joly in the Armenian center of Montreal, the ARF Hay Dat central office reported.

The Hay Dat Committee emphasized the importance of the right to self-determination of Artsakh, noting that it is the only guarantee for safe and peaceful life of the people of Artsakh and that Artsakh can never become a victim of genocide due to the annexation to Azerbaijan.

The Hay Dat Committee handed over to the Canadian Foreign Minister a paper of political and diplomatic priorities that could be of help to the Canadian government in overcoming the crisis in Artsakh.

In her turn, Minister Joly informed about the official opening of the Canadian Embassy in Armenia in September, with her participation.
