Catherine Colonna: Azerbaijan planned and organized the exodus of more than 100,000 Armenians

France initiated a new discussion in the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution on providing conditions for the return of the forcibly displaced persons of Artsakh, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna said in the Senate.

She noted that the conditions must include strong guarantees for the rights of the Armenians of Artsakh, as well as the rights for the preservation of historical and cultural rights, which requires a permanent international presence on the ground.

“Azerbaijan planned and organized the exodus of more than 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. This is a crime that cannot remain unanswered,” Colonna said.
