Catholicos of All Armenians: Indifference to the common good of the country prevails in our reality

In Armenian reality, traditional family values and spiritual commitment are retreating in the face of adversity, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II said.

“In our reality, unfortunately, slander and indifference to the common good of the country prevail. In the face of adversity, traditional family values and spiritual commitment are retreating. Responsibility is subordinated to the law; unbridled behavior and insults are perceived as courage.

The right to express one’s opinion is often used for evil deeds to distort the truth and spread biased views.

With such an attitude, lies are hidden under the mask of truth, debates turn into disputes, and it is hard for us to see goodness and justice. Faith and trust in each other, optimism and hope for the future weaken in our lives,” the Catholicos noted.
