Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II discuss regional situation with Archbishop Justin Welby

As part of his patriarchal visit to the Armenian Diocese of the United Kingdom and Ireland, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II met with His Holiness Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the Head of the Anglican Communion, the press center of the Mother See reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the problems faced by the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, as well as the issue of preserving the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage in Artsakh.

The sides also touched upon the return of Armenian captives and the situation in the region.
