Churches do not need fake news to speak truths or raise issues – Mother See’s response to fake news from pro-government media

The press service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin responded to fake articles in the pro-government media, noting that the Church does not need fake news to voice the truth or raise issues.

“The Information Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, in accordance with its responsibilities, is in constant contact and cooperates in various formats with representatives of the press and clergy of the dioceses of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

For the proper dissemination of information, the Information Center has separate groups of clergy with whom consultations and thematic discussions are organized as needed,” the statement reads.
