Commemorative event on 110th anniversary of Armenian Genocide held in Russia’s Pyatigorsk

The Armenian community in the Russian city of Pyatigorsk organized a commemorative event marking the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.

The event began with a memorial service at the Surb Sargis Armenian Church, where attendees honored the memory of the victims and offered prayers for their souls. Following the service, a mourning gathering was held to emphasize the importance of preserving the memory of the tragedy for future generations. The event concluded with tree planting.

Additionally, a round table discussion was organized, during which participants explored the causes that led to the genocide and its devastating impact on Armenian culture, history, and demographics.
