Controversial audio recordings on social media became reason for detentions — Lusine Martirosyan

Ten supporters of businessman Samvel Karapetyan, including individuals from the town of Tashir, have been taken to the Investigation Department of Yerevan, lawyer Lusine Martirosyan said in an interview with News. am.

According to her, none of them was officially summoned. During the search, one of those present requested that his lawyer be allowed to enter and participate in the process, but the request was denied.

“Preliminary information indicates that some audio recordings related to participation in rallies are being circulated on social media. This has become a widespread concern. It is unknown who is making the recordings, who is speaking in them, and whether they have been edited. These recordings are being shared by newly created ‘sites’,” the lawyer said.
