A report of a crime has been submitted to the Military Police of the Armenian Ministry of Defense. It has been forwarded to the preliminary investigation body to determine whether to initiate a criminal case.
Previously, a female soldier spoke to the crime news website Shamshyan. com about mistreatment by the command toward other women serving in the unit.
“In our military unit, where only women serve, the leadership treated us however they pleased. During training, pregnant women were forced to wear bulletproof vests and carry weapons, running with them for 3 or even 10 kilometers. The command in our unit treats service members very poorly. They insult our dignity and honor.
One day, I had to leave the military unit to go to the Ministry of Defense and report what was happening, but I received a call from the Military Police, and I told them everything. They said they would open a criminal case against the leadership, but they did nothing,” she said.
