Russia strongly disagrees with Pashinyan, CSTO does not pose any danger to Armenia, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
As reported earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, speaking at the Global Armenian Summit, said that the CSTO poses threats to Armenia’s security, its future existence and sovereignty.
“We have frozen our membership in the CSTO not only because the organization does not fulfill its security obligations towards Armenia, but because the CSTO poses threats to the security of Armenia, its future existence, sovereignty and statehood,” he said.
