CSTO PA meeting kicks off in Moscow, Armenia opts out

A meeting of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) and the 16th plenary session of the CSTO PA will be held in Moscow today. Armenia is not participating in these events.

The agenda includes the harmonization of the legislation of the CSTO member states and the preparation of model laws to tackle security challenges and threats in the organization’s area of responsibility.

The meeting will summarize the results of the priorities of Belarus’ chairmanship in the CSTO in 2023, as well as the priorities of Kazakhstan for the chairmanship next year.
