At a press conference in Bishkek, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) does not pose a threat to other countries, but must be prepared to repel any aggression.

He emphasized that Russia is ready to share weapons and equipment with CSTO partners, describing the achievements of the domestic defense industry in the field of drones as a “revolution”. At the same time, Putin noted that under the conditions of the special operation, the priority remains ensuring Russia’s own defense needs.

Addressing Yerevan’s position, Putin noted that Armenia continues to consider itself a member of the CSTO but is temporarily refraining from participating in meetings. According to him, alliance partners respect this decision, and Russia maintains contact with the Armenian side.

In addition, he stated that Russia remains the only country capable of building small nuclear power plants: “Many say they are ready to build them, but in reality only we do.”
