CSTO Secretary General comments on Armenia’s non-participation in organization’s discussions

 
Armenia’s non-participation in the CSTO discussions does not affect the productivity of the organization, Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said on Wednesday.

“Armenia’s non-participation in the discussions of all those matters that we have in our organization does not affect our productivity. At the same time, we assume that the Republic of Armenia is our ally and all our obligations towards Armenia are preserved,” he said.

Tasmagambetov stressed that Armenia can return to full participation in the organization’s work at any time as there are no objections or obstacles from the CSTO members.

The session of the CSTO Collective Security Council was held in Kazakhstan on November 28. Armenia did not participate in the event.
