The cultural center located in the heart of Tashir, equipped with modern facilities, has transformed the lives of the town’s residents and even those from neighboring communities.
According to NEWS. am, the office of the “Our Way” movement reported that reconstruction of the dilapidated building—originally built in 1978—began in 2017 thanks to the efforts of the Karapetyan family. At the initiative of former Armenian MP Karen Karapetyan, national philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan invested about 400 million drams in the renovation of the building and the acquisition of necessary equipment.
The cultural center brings together book lovers, provides specially designed rooms where elderly residents can spend their free time, and hosts concerts and theatrical performances. It also offers various clubs and includes a branch of the Chess Academy.
