Famous jazz musician Tigran Suchyan and the Artsakh Jazz Orchestra performed an excellent program as part of the annual meeting of tutors of the international educational platform Dasa2. The meeting, which has become traditional, is a celebration of communication and good music.

Dasa2 is the leading online educational platform for the Armenian diaspora around the world. The goal of Dasa2 is to preserve the ties of Armenians with home and to become a bridge between Diaspora Armenians and tutors from Armenia. However, today the platform’s students include not only Armenians but also representatives of other ethnicities living in the USA and Europe.

The founder and head of Dasa2, Samvel Hovhannisyan, admitted that the history of the platform began with attracting tutors from Armenia for his own children. He noted that the decision to attract professionals from Armenia was dictated by his personal experience: Armenian teachers are in many ways superior to their colleagues from the United States. Subsequently, he began to look for other students for the Armenian tutors that he hired, and thus the idea of creating the Dasa2 platform was born.

Today, Dasa2 unites about 400 tutors. It is not just an educational platform, but a community of dedicated people. The platform provides courses in Armenian, English, French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Russian, and Japanese, as well as chess, mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, musical instruments, yoga, and much more.

Being an educational platform, Dasa2 tries to contribute to the solution of Armenian problems as well. Thus, after the forced exodus of the Armenians from Artsakh, the platform announced a special program to hire tutors from Artsakh. Today, they have already become members of this large family.

Every year, Samvel Hovhannisyan travels from the US to Armenia to organize an event for the ever-growing number of dedicated tutors to reward their work.
