The nationwide movement in Artsakh has not ended and it cannot end, David Babayan, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, said in an interview with Alpha News.
“Nationwide movement has not ended and it cannot end, since there are seemingly active processes going on, such as the emergency session of the UN Security Council and other developments. But since the situation is complex, the movement can gain momentum at any time. In general, we can call the movement an approach of our people and a common future vision rather than a separate process,” Babayan noted.
The advisor to the Artsakh President is convinced that any movement in Artsakh should be directed by the state.
“The only guarantee that the movement can become nationwide, will not allow anyone to engage in speculations and will be successful, is that it will be directed by the state. We do not see ourselves as part of Azerbaijan in any way. If the developments start somehow pushing us to Azerbaijan, it will bring a new commotion in Artsakh.”
