David Galstyan files defamation suit against journalist Tatul Hakobyan

Head of the Justice opposition faction of Artsakh, David Galstyan, will file a defamation lawsuit against journalist Tatul Hakobyan.

“This person spreading disinformation said that Sargis Galstyan has already been appointed commandant of Stepanakert. Our reaction was appropriate. We have noted that these are people who are pouring water over the Turkish-Azerbaijani mill. But, unfortunately, these rumors have already circulated in the media. In the coming days, a defamation lawsuit will be filed against Tatul Hakobyan,” Galstyan said in an interview with Aysor.am.

On October 3, journalist Tatul Hakobyan announced on his Facebook page that the former director of the Avan Plaza hotel in Shushi, Sargis Galstyan, was appointed the representative of Azerbaijan in Artsakh. This disinformation spread rapidly not only in the Armenian, but also in the Azerbaijani media.
