Deputy FM says Armenia still waiting for Azerbaijan’s response regarding peace proposals

If there are positive signals from Azerbaijan, the discussions will move to another stage, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan told reporters on Monday.

“We continue to be sincerely interested in the complete normalization of relations with our neighbors and the signing of a peace treaty. You know that on January 4, we sent the updated version of the text of the respective agreement. Basically, we are waiting for Azerbaijan’s response. Yesterday, it was announced that the response would be in a few weeks,” he said.
