Designer Artem Militonian presents longread about humanitarian catastrophe in Artsakh

Armenian designer Artem Militonian published a non-commercial longread on the causes and consequences of the humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.

This project is an attempt to present the tragedy in an accessible way, based on verified facts such as historical sources, publications in the world media, statements of UN officials, and information from the Red Cross.

The longread was created by a small team: design by Artem Militonian and Enni Hovsepian; storytelling and editing by Rita Mkrtycheva and Mane Tatulian; research and assistance by Manvel Asratian.

The longread reflects historical events related to the territory of Artsakh in chronological order. The facts reflected in the project are intended to tell as accurately as possible about the causes and consequences of the tragedy.
