Development of cooperation between Armenia’s YSU, Hermitage and St. Petersburg State University

President of the Armenian Autonomy Karen Mkrtchyan met with Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovsky in St. Petersburg, Russia.

The topic of the conversation was the development of cooperation between the Hermitage Museum and the Faculty of Asian and African Studies of St. Petersburg State University and Armenia and Yerevan State University.

Karen Mkrtchyan thanked Mikhail Piotrovsky for organizing and supporting the meeting with Orientalists from Yerevan State University.

Mikhail Piotrovsky expressed confidence that the restored connection between the universities will develop steadily.

One of the nearest steps will be the visit of the YSU delegation to St. Petersburg in April to conclude bilateral agreements.
