Dmitry Peskov: Azerbaijan did not agree with EU mission in Armenia

Armenia invites the EU monitoring mission unilaterally, without taking into account Azerbaijan’s opinion, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

“The question is what is being monitored and whether this mission is approved by the Azerbaijani side. I doubt that such a mandate will be met with understanding. This is a unilateral decision of Yerevan. It is worth questioning the potential effectiveness of such a mission,” Peskov said.
