During the shelling of the House of Culture of Khnatsakh village in the Syunik region by Azerbaijani Armed Forces, there were local residents on this territory, Seyran Mirzoyan, the head of the village administration, told Alpha News.

“The property damage is not so extensive, but bullet holes are visible. My friends and I were nearby during the shooting,” Mirzoyan told Alpha News.

He declined to answer the question whether the fire was deliberately targeted.

Mirzoyan added that after the incident, Azerbaijanis opened fire again, but not in the direction of the village. “There was shooting at night, at different hours, only echoes were heard. The shooting stopped at 04:35 a.m.,” he said.

Earlier, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that on April 13, at approximately 10:20 p.m., units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan discharged fire in the direction of the Khnatsakh settlement in the Syunik Province, resulting in damage to the village’s cultural center. No casualties were reported.
