Ebrahim Raisi: Iran is against the slightest change in the geopolitical situation in the region

Tehran is against the slightest change in the geopolitical situation in the region, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said during a press conference at the UN General Assembly.

“The Islamic Republic has repeatedly stated that tensions and conflicts are not a way to resolve the problems of the region. These issues can be resolved by the countries of the region, including Iran,” he said.

According to him, Tehran has made it clear to Yerevan and Baku that it is against the slightest change in the geopolitical situation in the region.

“Both countries have assured that they will not take any actions that would contradict Iran’s position.”
