Elina Avanesyan beats Bianca Andreescu to move to second round of Cincinnati Open

Armenian Elina Avanesyan, ranked No. 60, defeated No. 166 Bianca Andreescu 6-4, 7-5 in the first round of the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati.

The match between the tennis players lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes. 

The Cincinnati Open takes place from August 13 to 19. The prize fund is $3,211,715.
