Emin Ohanyan wins silver at World U20 Junior Chess Championship

Emin Ohanyan, 17, won the silver medal at the World U20 Chess Championship. In the last round, the Armenian chess player defeated Daniel Quizon from the Philippines and scored 8.5 points out of 11.

Kazakhstan’s Nogerbek Kazybek scored the same number of points and won the title of champion. He defeated Mamikon Gharibyan, who placed fourth with 8 points.
