Erdogan says Armenia must fulfill its commitments to Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on Armenia-Azerbaijan relations at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Astana, Kazakhstan.

As the Turkish TRT reported, Erdogan stated that the latest actions of Azerbaijan brought the region closer to peace.

“Our wish is that Armenia appreciates the opened window of opportunities. It is essential that Armenia fulfill its commitments to Azerbaijan.

The connection between the western regions of Azerbaijan and Nakhichevan is of great importance. The opening of that route will promote the prosperity of the entire region, and it will also connect Turkiye with the homeland of our ancestors in Central Asia. To successfully complete this process, as the Turkic world, we must continue to support Azerbaijan,” Erdogan said.
