Erdogan says he ‘sincerely shares past suffering of Armenian community’

Turkish President Recep Erdogan has expressed respect for the Armenians who died in the Ottoman Empire in 1915.

“I sincerely share the past sufferings of the Armenian community and remember with respect the martyred Ottoman citizens,” the Turkish president said.
