Erdogan: Turkey hopes Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty will be signed as soon as possible

Turkey hopes that the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be signed as soon as possible and there will be peace in the South Caucasus, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during a press conference following the NATO summit in Washington, when asked whether the aforementioned peace agreement could be signed before the end of this year.

“We want to see this reconciliation as soon as possible,” he emphasized, adding that the authorities of both Armenia and Azerbaijan are taking positive steps in this direction.
