EU Ambassadors visit Margara checkpoint

 
Rustam Badasyan, Chair of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), and the Ambassadors of the EU countries visited the Margara checkpoint, SRC reports.

The Chair of the Committee and the diplomats toured the area of the checkpoint. During the tour, they were briefed on the modernization of the infrastructure of the checkpoint and the peculiarities of border control.

At the Margara customs point, as in other checkpoints in Armenia, state border control is planned to be carried out on the basis of the principle of complex border management. During the visit, the main directions of customs reforms were presented as well, including trade facilitation, digitization, and infrastructure modernization, as well as the projects and recorded achievements within the international cooperation.

The EU Ambassadors commended the work done at the checkpoint.
